As part of this year’s PHILOXENIA – HOTELIA event, visitors will have the opportunity to take a journey through time and explore the evolution of Greece’s tourism promotion through a part of the exhibition of tourism posters from the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
Marking 40 years since the first Tourism Exhibition in Greece, this showcase highlights the power of imagery and aesthetics in shaping the country’s identity as a leading travel destination. The posters at that time, were not merely promotional materials, but remarkable works of art – created by visual artist, unique photographers and talented graphic designers who captured the magic of Greek light and hospitality, enchanting millions of visitors around the world.
